I Know English Pretty Well Myself. Why Should I Hire a Writer?
Your time is valuable, and you know your business even better than you know how to write. Spend your time on what you do best, and let others handle the lower-priority tasks - like writing.

Why Should I Hire You, Specifically? Sell Me.
Attitude. I’m here to give you copy that works for you, on time and on budget, not to push a trendy ad strategy.
Perspective. I’ve worked with florists, financial companies, and top-tier universities. Wide-ranging experience helps me spot unique opportunities.
Story. As a screenwriter, novelist, and playwright, I’ve spent years studying stories. I can find yours and make it stand out.

How Do You Price a Project?
Like any contractor. Once we discuss your needs and schedule, I will quote you an estimate based on the number of hours I expect the project to take, plus expenses (if any).
What Does a Quote Include ?
A one-hour conference at project start to establish a schedule, nature of the deliverables, and other requirements.
Subsequent phone conferencing as needed.
Two (2) sets of revisions.
A final draft that is "proof ready" - i.e. that is ready to go to a proofreader and layout.
How Flexible Is Your Quote?
My quote is firm, but we can work together to adjust the project parameters in a way that will meet both your needs and your budget. I also have two special discounts: a philanthropy discount for nonprofits, and a professional-development discount for projects that I haven't attempted before.
We Just Finished Working With Someone Who Charged Per Word. Do You Do That?
Per-word rates are used by magazines and websites that offer reportage, commentary, and fiction. They are appropriate when the writer receives a byline and wide exposure with the piece. However, for other content - especially B2B case studies, white papers, speeches, and websites - project-based quotes are the norm.
